PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

Psychological assessment is a key aspect of our work, used to evaluate an individual’s mental health, cognitive abilities, and emotional functioning through various tools and techniques. We use psychological assessments for a range of purposes, including career counselling, to help individuals understand their strengths and interests for informed career decisions. In third-party work, we provide assessments requested by insurance companies, legal entities, or employers, which may be used for claims, legal matters, or employment suitability. We also assess criminal capacity to determine an individual’s understanding of their actions in a legal context, often for forensic evaluations. Additionally, we conduct personality assessments to explore traits and patterns that inform therapeutic processes and aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Through these assessments, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s psychological profile.

A neuropsychological assessment evaluates how the brain is functioning by assessing cognitive, behavioural, and emotional abilities linked to neurological processes.

A psycholegal assessment is a psychological evaluation conducted for legal purposes. The psychologist assesses psychological functioning in relation to a legal question before the court or another legal body.

A psychoanalytical formulation is an in-depth understanding of a person’s psychological difficulties from a psychoanalytic or psychodynamic perspective.
